Stopped by this chip shop and was seriously impressed. The fish was spot on—crispy beef dripping batter, fresh and flaky inside, chips are also cooked in beef dripping like all chip shops were years ago. You could tell everything was cooked to order, not sitting around under heat lamps. The curry sauce had great flavor too, not the usual bland stuff you get elsewhere. Customer service was friendly and quick, no messing around. There’s parking right outside, which made it super convenient. And the price? Surprisingly good for the quality. Definitely worth it. Solid all-round experience—I’ll be back.

Absolutely the best fish and chips around. I tend to go not long after opening and I don't mind waiting while the cook it all to order. Decent portion size and price as well. Staff are always really friendly. I have tried Henleys (not sure how they win stuff with soggy chips) and Jonny Mac's but Mr Chips are definitely the best.
